Ms. Larson Awarded the S.T.A.R. Award!
Centennial High School is excited to share that our very own Jodi Larson was honored with the S.T.A.R. award this month! This award is given bi-monthly to a staff member, teacher, or principal who embodies S.T.A.R. attributes (Selflessness, Tireless, Adaptive, and Remarkable). Ms. Larson is a shining example of someone who exhibits each of these qualities.
Her nominator stated: Ms. Larson is someone who I feel like doesn’t get the recognition that she deserves. She is someone who teaches health as well as people PE; the PE class is a joint class with peers and buddies with the purpose of inclusion. She works hard everyday to make sure everyone is doing okay as well as does all the planning for Special Olympics! She also takes time out of weekends to do our Special Olympics practices or other events.
Congratulations Ms. Larson on this well-deserved award! Our students and staff are lucky to have you as part of our CHS family!!
