Ankeny Community School District recognizes the following grading scale as the common grading scale used within the district.

D	62.5	1.00	2.00
D-	59.5	0.67	1.67
F	0	0.00	0.00

* Weighted grade points are assigned to AP and post-secondary classes

I = Incomplete – no credit
EX = Excused (not included in GPA)
W = Dropped class (Inappropriately placed)
P = Pass for credit (not included in GPA)
AU = Audit – no credit (not included in GPA)
AW = Removed from class by Administrator
